These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Apex Mobility's luxury car rental services and website. By accessing our services or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Definitions

  • "Service" refers to luxury car rental services provided by Apex Mobility
  • "User" or "Renter" means any person accessing our website or renting vehicles
  • "Vehicle" includes all automobiles in our rental fleet
  • "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions plus the rental contract
  • "We/Us/Our" refers to Apex Mobility
  • "Website" means apexmobility.sg and related digital platforms

2. Eligibility Requirements

To rent from Apex Mobility, you must:

  • Be at least 25 years of age at time of rental commencement
  • Possess a valid driver's license held continuously for minimum 2 years
  • Hold a Singapore license or valid international driving permit
  • Provide a major credit card in your name for security deposit
  • Present valid identification (passport or national ID card)
  • Meet our insurance coverage requirements
  • Not be prohibited from renting under Singapore law

Additional verification may be required for international rentals or premium vehicles.

3. Rental Service Terms

Booking and Reservations

  • Reservations may be made online, by phone, or in person
  • Booking confirmation does not guarantee specific vehicle make/model
  • Vehicle category is confirmed, with comparable substitution if needed
  • We reserve the right to decline reservations at our discretion
  • Peak period bookings require advance notice (typically 48-72 hours)

Payment Terms

  • Payment in full required at rental commencement unless membership applies
  • Security deposit held on credit card during rental period
  • Additional charges may apply for extra services or violations
  • Fuel charges apply if vehicle not returned with full tank
  • All prices listed in Singapore Dollars (SGD)

Rental Period

  • Minimum rental period: 4 hours for hourly service
  • Extensions subject to availability and advance notification
  • Late returns incur additional charges at standard rates
  • Grace period of 30 minutes before late fees apply
  • Early returns do not qualify for refunds unless specified

4. Renter Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Operate the vehicle safely and in accordance with Singapore traffic laws
  • Maintain the vehicle in good condition during rental period
  • Report any damage or mechanical issues immediately
  • Return the vehicle at agreed time and location
  • Pay all fines, tolls, and parking charges incurred
  • Not allow unauthorized drivers to operate the vehicle
  • Not use the vehicle for illegal activities or racing
  • Not smoke or transport hazardous materials in the vehicle
  • Not exceed passenger capacity or towing without authorization

5. Prohibited Activities

The vehicle may NOT be used for:

  • Commercial ride-sharing or taxi services without authorization
  • Racing, speed testing, or competitive driving events
  • Transportation of illegal substances or contraband
  • Off-road driving or operation on unpaved surfaces
  • Instruction or lessons to unlicensed drivers
  • Subleasing or unauthorized transfer to third parties
  • Transport of animals without prior approval
  • Any activity that voids manufacturer warranty

Violation of these prohibitions results in immediate termination and forfeiture of deposit.

6. Insurance and Liability

Included Coverage

  • Comprehensive insurance meeting Singapore regulatory requirements
  • Third-party liability coverage up to policy limits
  • Theft protection with deductible as specified in rental agreement
  • Collision damage waiver with applicable excess

Renter Liability

  • Responsible for deductible amounts in case of damage or theft
  • Full liability for damage caused by prohibited use
  • Liable for all fines and penalties incurred during rental
  • Administrative fees apply for processing violations

Not Covered

  • Damage to personal belongings left in vehicle
  • Loss or damage resulting from prohibited activities
  • Damage caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct
  • Interior damage from spills, stains, or smoking

7. Cancellation and Modification

More than 48 hours before pickup:

Full refund of prepaid amounts

24-48 hours before pickup:

50% cancellation fee applied

Less than 24 hours or no-show:

Full rental amount forfeited

Modifications:

Accepted up to 24 hours before pickup without penalty, subject to availability

Different cancellation terms may apply for membership holders or special packages.

8. Vehicle Inspection and Damage

Inspection Process

  • Pre-rental inspection documented digitally with photographs
  • Renter must verify and sign inspection report before departure
  • Post-rental inspection completed upon vehicle return
  • Any new damage identified and documented immediately

Damage Reporting

  • Report any incidents or damage within 24 hours
  • Provide police report for accidents or theft
  • Cooperate fully with insurance claim process
  • Do not admit fault or liability at accident scene

9. Termination Rights

We reserve the right to terminate the rental immediately if:

  • You violate any terms of this agreement
  • Vehicle is used for prohibited purposes
  • You provide false information during booking
  • You fail to maintain valid insurance or license
  • Vehicle is abandoned or unreasonably abused
  • Outstanding payments remain unpaid

Upon termination, you must return the vehicle immediately to our designated location. No refunds will be issued for terminated agreements due to violation.

10. Limitation of Liability

  • Vehicles provided "as is" with no warranties beyond those implied by law
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
  • Maximum liability limited to total rental fees paid
  • Not responsible for delays due to mechanical failures or circumstances beyond control
  • Force majeure events exempt us from performance obligations

11. Dispute Resolution

Step 1: Informal Resolution

Contact our customer service team within 30 days to resolve the matter informally

Step 2: Mediation

If informal resolution fails, parties agree to attempt mediation before litigation

Step 3: Arbitration

Unresolved disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in Singapore

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Jurisdiction: Courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users.

Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified Terms. Please review this page periodically for updates.

13. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the complete agreement between parties
  • Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any right does not constitute waiver
  • Assignment: You may not assign this agreement without written consent
  • Notices: Official communications sent to registered email addresses
  • Language: English version prevails in case of translation discrepancies
